I long/crave/desire a breath of fresh air/change of scenery/moment of freedom, a taste/smell/touch of anything other than this suffocating/oppressive/monotonous reality.

But for now, I am trapped/stuck/confined. This is my situation/circumstance/fate.

Stuck Out in a Pickle

It was an real pickle. I was totally locked out of my house. The door wouldn't budge. I had tried every key in my wallet, but none of them worked. I felt silly.
